Kawasaki KLX 250s: My Bike and its Journey from Stock to Custom

(with special thanks to my boyfriend, who did most of this himself, or who supervised and taught me to do the work)

Most of the modifications we made are documented in this site, but some are not.  Additional mods we did not photograph are the heated grips with new grip covers, and the upcoming change to a new custom seat (Renazco seems too expensive, but I might go that way if I can't find a better alternative).

The photo here is of our "family" of motorcycles. They get along well together, and mine is definitely the new kid on the block. UPDATE: Not pictured here, but mentioned in my blog, is our newest addition, the KTM 350 EXC-F.

The KTM Adventure rules the roost and the Honda dual sport is my boyfriend's bike of choice when riding with me because it's a better match to my Kawasaki. UPDATE: Poor little Hondy, who is a GREAT moto, gets no more love and attention now that the new baby (the KTM 350 EXC-F) is in the home.
